We've got a nice new transfer up here in Gainesville, and it's some good stuff. I got a new companion, and transfers were good. We got to the transfer spot at around 10 and I thought I was going to be waiting until around 2 or 3 to get my companion, so I was getting ready for the long haul of trying to awkwardly socialize with missionaries who have everything they own in their hands and it's just weird haha. Good stuff though. I got to see some people I used to serve with, and it was a lot of fun. I was again reminded of how bad I am at basketball but, this time, in front of like 30 other people. Heh.
We deep cleaned most of our apartment, and now it is very barren. We threw away so much random stupid broken garbage and stuff. The whole place has a different feel to it now. It is rather nice. We hung up a little picture of Jesus because our walls felt pretty barren, so that's nice.
So there's a nice Corvette at the church on Sundays, and I've been trying to meet the guy who owns it. We finally met him, and he somehow managed to get behind us as we were driving home. As we turned, I rolled down the window and y'all can guess what I heard... the sweet sweet sound of a nice big American V-8. There are few sounds that are nicer than that. Just like me trying to solidify my conversion and other people's conversion to Jesus Christ, this ward member is solidifying my conversion to big, loud, American V-8's.
I got a haircut today, and hair cuts are weird. Sometimes, like in Tally, you find somebody awesome and you seriously want your hair to grow fast just so you can go get another haircut. Then there are times, like today, when you look in the mirror when you get home and you ask yourself, did I really spend money on/for this?? Yeesh. Whatever. It grows.
